Detroit Lake Fireworks

Detroit Lake had fireworks over the lake last Sat. The lake is low because of the lack of rain and snow last winter.

Owl Sighting

An owl was hanging out this afternoon near my cabin.
A short while later my neighbor Nicole watched it swoop down to catch and eat a mouse.

A View Restored

The view from the far meadow pool for years now has
been of the meadow with a temporary water filter house
building in it. That building finally came down recently.

Narrow River Channel

The Breitenbush river rushes through 25 ft. wide channel downstream from hot springs. And photo of the river from our bridge on same day where it is about 90 ft wide.
